A Torino Vera (http://slurl.com/secondlife/Italia%202%20Torino/73/169/33) alle 11:00 am slt (20:00 italiane) si potrà assistere allo spettacolo delle danzatrici virtuali "Phoenix Embers Showcats": si tratta di un corpo di ballo virtuale formato da 7 "hot girls", sotto la sapiente guida della loro fondatrice e coreografa Laurina Hawks. Il loro primo spettacolo ha debuttato nel marzo del 2008 e da allora si esbiscono con grande successo su tutti i palchi di Second Life.

Sulle note di una coinvolgente colonna sonora lo spettacolo prende vita e si anima grazie ad alcune ben studiate coreografie arricchite da un sensazionale gioco di luci ed effetti speciali, possibili solo inworld!

Alle 12:00 pm slt (21:00 italiane) inizierà ad esibirsi Choise Clip una cantante italiana che da qualche tempo si esibisce con successo sui palchi virtuali eseguendo con voce intensa i migliori successi italiani, le più belle canzoni da portare nel cuore, la musica che ancora ci fa sognare.Un'ora con Choise oltre che ad offrire la possibilità di riascoltare famosi successi sia italiani che internazionali sapientemente riarrangiati, farà anche trascorrere momenti di grande divertimento per la disinvoltura con la quale l'artista intrattiene i presenti introducendo loro aneddoti e retroscena legati alle canzoni ed ai musicisti che le hanno composte.

Nel 1982 è entrato al Conservatorio di Rotterdam, ma ha dovuto interrompere gli studi per motivi di famiglia. Ma adesso , anche grazie a Second Life, è di nuovo tempo di pensare alla musica, tempo per una seconda carriera e ...per una seconda vita!

La musica di JooZz è stata descritta in modo molto efficace come una musica che "viene dal nulla e va in una qualche direzione". Dopo varie e lusinghiere presentazioni in tutta la penisola approda in Second Life mercoledi 11 giugno alle ore 12:30 pm slt (21:30 italiane) in Piazza san Carlo a Torino Vera http://slurl.com/secondlife/Italia%202%20Torino/75/178/35 "Nessun peccato", libro d’esordio della scrittrice Maria Luce Bondì nonché dell’editrice Tanit, palermitana come l’autrice.
Si tratta di un romanzo aspro sul tema antico, e sempre urgente, del miracolo: Gianni, insegnante privato trentenne, viene scelto dalla sua giovanissima allieva come depositario di un difficile segreto, la sua gravidanza inspiegabile, che la indurrà ad abbandonare casa e nascondersi da un giornalista, che indaga sulla sua concezione apparentemente immacolata.
E’ l’intreccio da cui muove il romanzo d’esordio della giovane scrittrice, nata a Palermo nel ’76, regista e interprete di cortometraggi, Maria Luce Bondì è già autrice di racconti pubblicati in riviste e antologie di varie case editrici. I suoi vari racconti sono apparsi sulla rivista siciliana “Margini”, sulla romana “Toilet 9”, sulle raccolte “Il filo della dorsale” del Laboratorio Gutenberg, “Fili di Parole” e “Siculiana” della Giulio Perrone editore, nonché su “Pazzità” della Navarra editore.

Silas has been playing electric guitar for many years in a history that started with his days with the Freezebirds but which evolved into an online act in Second Life that features keyboards, bass, vocals, and guitar. Silas doesn't play a fixed schedule in Second Life but you can join his Silas Xanadu group to get notified when he is playing and when he is shooting videos. Silas works with Telia Soyer in designing and shooting the videos and they have made five music videos in Second Life so far. There will definitely be more to come!

Let's start by saying that even if has been only a few months that I've been strolling around SL, working as a DJ in many clubs (rock, 80's, mixing live disco stuff, taking requests and whatsoever), I started about 2 months ago singing.

I have been singing in RL since 1994. I quit only for "techincal matters" (bass player left and the band stopped to perform).

Ictus ha suonato professionalmente in RL per piu' di 20 anni,ed ha fatto parte di migliaia di band.
Ama il jamming e suona la chitarra, il basso, le tastiere, l'armonica e naturalmente canta.
In realtà ha sempre voluto solo cantare sin da giovanissimo.
Ha suonato nella sua prima band a 12 anni come batterista, a 17 e' diventato il front man di una band da lui fondata ma ben presto, vista la difficoltà di reperire bassisti è ritornato a suonare il basso.
Ictus ha prodotto 3 CD con delle bands, ed uno da solista.
Ed eccolo qui anche in Second Life,a seguire la sua padrona, la musica, fino alla fine del tempo.
La musica che suona da solista si puo' definire "classic" rock, includendo anche alcuni nuovi pezzi che comunque fanno riferimento a questo genere musicale.

si è esibita sui palche sin dalla tenera età di 6 anni ed è stata allevata con una dieta di country tradizionale e gospel ,ha imparato a cantare le armonie con le sue numerose sorelle e fratelli.
Ha risentito delle influenze di vari artisti dai e Rolling Stones ai Beatles a cantanti ed cantautori quali Carole King e James Taylor. The songs will encompass the inspiration, expression, censorship, and legacy of art and artists. “As with all of my songs, there is also an underlying theme of personal enlightenment, love, life, loss and social issues. Phelps founded The Oklahoma Songwriters Circle in 2004 and in addition to her musical talents, she is also a graphic designer.

Dewran è un musicista di 44 anni di Telford (Shropshire,UK) , suona la chitarra dall'età di 9 anni ed è cresciuto ascoltando la musica dei Beatles.

Un nuovo performer di SL che ha già calcato i palchi di SL con entusiamo e talento!
Angro suona una chitarra acustica e un'armonica a bocca che accompagnano la sua voce, in un mix di indimenticabili emozioni.

Guidato dall'amore per la musica e la sua chitarra (che suona da quando era nella pancia della mamma) non è stato influenzato da un solo artista, ma da diversi gruppi e cantanti, rimandendo sempre fedele allo stile rock leggero.

E' entrato nel mondo di SL nell'aprile del 2008, ed ha iniziato ad esibirsi nell'agosto 2008.

Le cover includono Radio Heads, Nirvana, Pantera, Dream Theater, Goo Goo Dolls, Nickelback, Lou Reed, Bryan Adams, Bruce Springsteen e molto altro ancora!
Angro sta lavorando ad alcune canzoni originali, che presenterà presto su SL!

Angro Belar began to play the guitar at the age of 14 years. In the same year he bought a CD of Bruce Springsteen, "The Greatest Hits"...and he discovered the wonderful music of this singer. Angro ran to buy a harmonica, learning to play some of that great songs. And today...the Boss is one of the most covered rockers in Second Life by Angro.

Gregg Huet has been a musician most of his life and has played just about every genre you can think of. Born near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in the 60's it was clearly natural for a young guitarist to cover famous local bands. Probably the most prominent band to influence Gregg's style is the infamous Rock Band, Boston.

His Second Life setlist includes classic rock hits as well as some alternative rock hits. Easy listening, power ballads and love songs can all be heard at Gregg's concerts all over SL. His crystal clear voice has been described as an honest, sincere voice that captures an audience.

Gregg has been performing regular shows at various venues in SL since April 2008 and has become quite popular with his fanbase as well as the patrons to those venues.

Michi Renoir plays mainly keyboard to create electronic music. He also plays piano doing some remixing as well . He tries to incorporate many world music styles to create what has been descibed as "amazing, a musical journey to take listeners to another plane of reality".

Michi was a classically trained pianist from the age of eight, and also played guitar for a time, but later he was inspired by Jon Lord of Deep Purple to play in a totally different style.
Since then he has composed his music in many styles,what he definitely did so far.
Each gig is different from another because he likes to do improvisations.

Spesso esegue brani di Bob Marley e di ispirazione Rasta ma talvolta ama spaziare anche nei classici del rock e jazz standards.

Michael Davis(Drakhar1 Aeon) is the soul maker of this band. He started playing drums in the early 90's. Jazz is Michaels focus, but he is all so a very accomplished player in Rock, classic Rock, Funk and R@B, Michael additionally writes guitar and bass and piano and vocals, and Drums for The Prisoners of Justice.

The tragic earthquake that hurt Italy on April 6th caused all over in the world pain, emotional involvement and solidarity with the people who lost everything just in one night.
This huge feeling of compassion suddendly turned into initiatives having the aim to concretely help and support the victims of such a calamity.
Virtual communities and web 2.0.social networks are of course sharing this same feeling: Second Life residents expressed immediately all their compassion and the desire to do the best they can to lend an hand.
One of the biggest inworld community, Italia Vera with its 22,500 members, is took the initiative to support the Abruzzo through the music.

Second Life si mobilita per l'Abruzzo

Il tragico evento che ha sconvolto il nostro Paese nella notte fra domenica e lunedi non ha mancato di suscitare un grande flusso di partecipazione emotiva e di solidarietà che si è concretizzata in una serie di iniziative volte a sostenere concretamente, e quindi anche da un punto di vista strettamente economiche , quelle persone così duramente provate tanto nell'aspetto psicologico che materiale.

Quest'onda di commozione non ha mancato di ricadere anche sulle comunità virtuali e sui social network , vero nucleo pulsante del web 2.0.

Non poteva mancare a questo appello di solidarietà la comunità di Second Life dove, fin dai primi momenti che sono seguiti alla notizia della avvenuta catastrofe, i residenti hanno manifestato compassione e partecipazione dapprima interessandosi alle sorti dei propri amici di cui si conosceva la possibile presenza nelle zone ferite ma , immediatamente dopo , esprimendo anche un anelito di fattiva collaborazione mossi dall'urgenza di manifestare al massimo il loro sostegno ed una concreta solidarietà.

Si sono pertanto moltiplicate iniziative benefiche non solo da parte dei singoli residenti ma anche soprattutto da parte delle comunità che fanno da collante e catalizzatore della grande famiglia di Second Life.

Il messaggio di solidarietà della comunità di Italia Vera, che con i suoi oltre 22,500 iscritti rappresenta una delle più numerose inworld, non poteva che partire dalla musica e da quegli artisti che ogni giorno per ore fanno da colonna sonora alle vite parallele dei residenti di Second Life, contribuendo non poco ad allietarne sia i momenti tristi che quelli più allegri e spensierati.

I musicisti e i cantanti che, ogni sera ,in diretta dal mondo, si collegano ai loro servers e si esibiscono sui suoi palchi virtuali , sono stati chiamati a raccolta dal gruppo di Italia Vera per partecipare ad un evento che avrà la durata di oltre 4 ore e che vedra' l'esibizione live di tantissimi artisti : dall'Italia Swina Allen,Sioux Nicolaidis,UKDproject, dalla Germania DonfrankoDagostino e,dalla Spagna Jordio Carnell, dal Portogallo Tb Andel,dall'Argentina Joaquin Gustav e Seba Sideways,daglli USA Satin Galli,Melodee McDonnell,Onlyhalfcrazy Gumbo.

La ‘ndrangheta diventa oggetto di ricerca accademica grazie a un’iniziativa del Centro Studi sull’Intelligence promosso dal Dipartimento di Scienze dell’Educazione dell’Università della Calabria.
“Il contrasto alla criminalità oggi, in tempi di crisi finanziaria globale, non può che avvenire sul piano culturale della conoscenza scientifica. Appunto per questo lo strumento dell’intelligence diventa strategico e decisivo”, ha dichiarato Mario Caligiuri, coordinatore del Centro Studi e direttore del Master sull’Intelligence dell’Università della Calabria.

La tavola rotonda viene svolta nell'ambito della serie di “Underworld stories: la realtà che solo noi vi possiamo raccontare”, un programma realizzato dall’Associazione di Giornalismo Investigativo (AGI) e da Italia Vera con lo scopo di approfondire e analizzare il volto nascosto della società italiana ed internazionale: il crimine organizzato, gli omicidi seriali, il terrorismo internazionale i servizi segreti, l’economia illegale.

La musica è stata la migliore amica di Miky fin da quando ha iniziato a suonare la chitarra a 10 anni.
Ha subito l'influenza di artisti quali Carlos Santana, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Larry Carlton, Gary Moore, David Gilmour, Ritchie Blackmore e Jimmy Page.
Il sound di Miky si basa su di una miscela di pop, classic rock, improvisational jazz e blues alla chitarra elettrica, per creare un sound accattivante che sorprende e coinvolge gli ascoltatori.

Le parole si diramano dal testo poetico sino al lettore. L’autore passa dal dire all’amare con ingenuità e senza il velo del pudore. Il ricordo affiora violento come può essere violenta una carezza improvvisa forse non voluta. Questa è la prima raccolta poetica di Alessandro, così giovane e già poeta, a vent’anni ancora poeta. Endecasillabi irregolari, accattivanti nel suono e nel contenuto, in cui il ritmo la fa da padrone senza diventare mai un gioco sciocco, ridondante.

Brent Renard è un direttore d'orchestra, compositore e tenore. Ha una vasta esperienza come cantante d'opera e nella messa in scena delle sue composizioni musicali.E' inoltre professore universitario e si occupadelle ricerche in campo culturale e nella organizzazione delle istituzioni artistiche.

Clarice Karu è cresciuta all'interno di una famiglia tutta dedicata alla musica.
sin dalla più tenera età con i suoi fratelli amava trascorrere il suo tempo ascoltando la mamma suonare alla chitarra , il papà al banjo la sorella più grande al pianoforte e tutti insieme cantando le canzoni preferite.

Clarice dopo un periodo di pausa ha ricominciato a cantare il jazz ed è quello che ama fare in Second Life durante i suoi seguitissimi concerti .

Figlia illegittima di un pianista zingaro la vita di Sen è stata da sempre immersa nella musica dal momento del suo primo respiro fra i gusti strettamente classici del padre mentre la madre la ha influenzata con una colorata coperta di jazz, rock, blues, folk, e suoni culturali ed etnici assortiti. Alla tenera età di 5 anni le fu regalata una piccola chitarra classica e qualche lezione cosa che le era piaciuta molto ma che purtroppo non era compatibile con la sua vita nomade. Con il lavoro di suo padre c'erano sempre panoforti nel suo mondo e così lei imparò a costruirli ed a ripararli nei loro complessi meccanismi interni senza trascurare tuttavia anche altri strumenti come la chitarra anche grazie alla infuenza di sua madre. A 12 anni le fu data la sua prima chitarra elettrica con un piccolo amplificatore ed altre lezioni le furono impartite da lei letteralmente divorate, ma fu solo qualche anno più tardi quando un amico di famiglia le regalò la sua adorata prima chitarra folk con le corde d'acciaio , che lei davvero trovò la sua strada iniziando a suonare per le strade di Seattle as a busker, dove trovò il suo stile di vita ed un posto dove sentirsi davvero a casa.

Nel 2005, ritornando da una esibizione ad una fiera medievale nella Columbia britannica lei ed il suo compagno furono devastati da un incendio e tutti gli strumenti andarono persi. Sebbene gli amici li aiutarono con generosità a ricomprare gli strumenti la ferita resto' molto profonda e la voglia di Sen di suonare rimase schiacciata . Fu solo con l'incontro di un musicista di talento in Second Life nella primavera del 2008 chw finalmente la nebbia del suo dispiacere finalmente si dissolse e lei riprese di nuovo in mano una chitarra.Il suo amore per la comunità musicale di SL è forte e intenso in entrambi i mondi.
